How shipping works at Kibler’s — where we ship, what it costs, and when your books leave the store.
Where we ship
We currently ship within the United States only.
Carriers and cost
Orders ship by USPS or UPS. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the weight of your order and your delivery address, so you see the exact cost before you pay — no flat-rate guesswork and no surprise charges later.
When your order ships
- Preorders ship complete. Your order leaves when every book in it has been released and has arrived at the store. If an order mixes a book out next week with one out next month, it ships when the last book lands.
- Want books as they release instead? Place separate orders for books with different release dates — each order ships as soon as its own books are out.
- Once an order is complete, we pack it and hand it to the carrier within 2 business days.
- You will get a tracking email when your order ships.
How books are packed
Single-issue comics ship bagged and boarded, and every order goes out in rigid, protective packaging made for comics — your books should arrive in the condition they left the shelf.
Problems with a delivery
- Damaged or wrong book: message us within 14 days of delivery with a photo, and we will replace it or refund you.
- Address changes: if you move or spot a typo in your shipping address, message us before your order ships and we will fix it. Once an order is with the carrier, its address cannot be changed.
- Lost packages: if tracking stalls or a package never arrives, message us and we will work with the carrier to track it down.
Local pickup — free
Live nearby? Choose Local pickup at checkout and skip shipping entirely. Pick up at Kibler’s, 7979 N Eldridge Pkwy #152, Houston, TX 77041. We will email you when your order is ready — bring that confirmation email with you.
Held shipments
You can also hold preorders and combine them into a single shipment, weekly or monthly — see “Held shipments” in our Preorder Policy. The first held order in a cycle pays shipping; add-ons in the same cycle ride free.
